Caribbean Princess Cruises During the Peak Season is Very Busy

Caribbean Princess cruises aboard the Caribbean Princess during peak season can leave you standing in line a lot. The Caribbean Princess cruise ship was built to accommodate more people than its sister ships, and the lines during peak season proves it.

Most of the Princess cruiseline cruise ships were designed for 2600 passengers, but Caribbean Princess cruises accommodates 3100. Sure it is only 500 more passengers, but the venues aboard the ship are no larger than on cruise ships only accommodating 2600 people, so you will end up standing in line for certain venues that fill up early, very early on this ship. As long as you like crowds and crowded areas, Caribbean Princess cruises are perfect for you, but if you like a more relaxed and calm setting you will want to avoid the peak season on this particular ship. Peak season on the Caribbean Princess is June through September, so make a note of these months for traveling on this ship only if you like a very busy ship and lots of activity around you.

As previously mentioned, the Caribbean Princess can be overcrowded at times, this is due to the fact that the ship has 900 balcony staterooms and an entire deck of mini suites, the rooms on this ship are ultra luxurious and spacious, making Caribbean Princess cruises a must for any cruiser, just be prepared for the crowds during peak travel season on this leviathan. The only other complaint I have heard about this ship is that the showers are very small, not very accommodating for the larger crowd, whether that be the very tall or the big and tall.

With such exciting ports of call as Bermuda and San Juan, Caribbean Princess cruises truly are a must for any vacationer. A Caribbean cruise is often looked at as a perfect trip for a balcony suite, but this is one giant of a ship, so if your plans are to use your cabin only for sleeping you might just get away with booking an inside cabin for this cruise. Of course if you want to enjoy the scenery while relaxing in your stateroom for privacy, you will certainly need to spend the extra money to have a great view.

After speaking to many adults who have taken this cruise I found out that the Sanctuary, an adults only area atop the ship, is very nice for adults who would like a quiet place and a bit of seclusion from the activities aboard these Caribbean Princess cruises. The price for the Sanctuary is $20/day, but be sure to reserve your spot early as there are only 20 and they sell out fast. This is a very private spot, and no children are allowed, so it is a great get away location for the adults who want to socialize in a quiet and comfortable  setting.

When packing for your Caribbean Princess cruises, be sure to bring your cameras, as the ship itself and the exotic ports of call are sure to fill your memory card with beautiful moments in time. Be sure to book your cruise early and make time to be sure all your arrangements have been made before your cruise date. Have a Great Cruise!
